Dear Reader

Dear Reader,

pencils & shavings

I’ve been wanting to talk to you for a long time. The world has changed. We’ve changed—haven’t we? And it’s all affected us differently. But I want you to know that not a day has gone by that I haven’t thought of you and how important it is that we meet up like this.

It took me a long time to re-learn that the world needs what we do here, that I need to keep getting the words to line up. Sure, together we may be just dishing up hope and humor and comfort—and always with a side of sass—but it’s important, the work that we do here. So let’s keep doing it.

Let’s see where this blog takes us.
